WBIR-TV Knoxville is hiring a full-time Broadcast Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot broadcast hardware, IT systems, servers, and related equipment across studio, transmitter, remote broadcast vehicle, and other remote locations. The role supports daily news operations, performs security updates and reboots, maintains technical documentation, and may require occasional field work and minor building maintenance. Candidates need 5–7 years of broadcast engineering or related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of computer hardware, network technologies, and Microsoft Active Directory, and availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call work.
