TEGNA is hiring a full-time Broadcast Engineer for WQAD-TV in Davenport, Iowa. The role maintains broadcast hardware, IT systems, servers, and related equipment across studio, transmitter, remote broadcast vehicles, and other locations; troubleshoots issues, performs updates and reboots, documents equipment, and occasionally supports field productions. The position requires 1–3 years of broadcast engineering or related experience, a current driver’s license, ability to operate a news-gathering vehicle, flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, and availability on call.
