Description

The Broadcast Engineer / Technical Facilities Specialist will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain television broadcast equipment, computers, networks, audio/video systems, control systems, and facility infrastructure. The role also handles electrical, mechanical, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building-system issues; supports installations, cabling, equipment moves, construction projects, and system expansions; coordinates with engineering, operations, vendors, and contractors; and documents technical issues. The position requires at least five years of broadcast engineering, technical facilities, or equivalent hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, 24/7 news environment. Compensation is $115,000–$130,000 annually.
