Description
The Broadside Reporter is a temporary, part-time student position at Central Oregon Community College in Bend. The role researches, reports, writes, edits, and promotes news and opinion content for The Broadside’s website, social media, and print editions, including conducting interviews and pursuing stories relevant to students, staff, faculty, and local communities. The position pays a $350 monthly stipend, requires current enrollment in at least six credits and registration for J-215: Publications Lab, and provides experience with AP Style, Google Sheets, online content management systems, and social media. Travel to off-site locations and branch campuses may be required.
