The role monitors bird mortality, feed conversion, sizing, and scheduling; evaluates house conditions and husbandry practices; provides recommendations to contract growers; tracks and analyzes mortality; maintains feed inventories; and may schedule and train employees. The position typically requires a bachelor's degree in poultry science or a related field and 2 to 5 years of directly related experience, along with a current driver's license and good driving record.
