Family Day Care Services is hiring an Assistant Teacher for a contract part-time, split-shift role at Brookside CC/SA/EDP. The position provides and supports an early learning and development environment for children aged 0–12 in a group setting, implements the High/Scope® curriculum and Hanen programs, plans and evaluates activities, assesses children, supports families, and assists with special-needs assessments. The role requires an Early Childhood Education degree or diploma, registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators, at least two years of child care experience preferred, and completion of medical, vulnerable-sector, and first-aid/CPR requirements. The contract runs from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with a stated salary of $25,001.59.
