The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) is hiring a fixed-term Software Development and Application Operations Officer for its Central Exchange Platform with Business Unit. Based at the Bonn office, the role develops, integrates, maintains, and secures web application components; analyzes business requirements; provides technical direction to external development teams; establishes development standards and processes; improves CI/CD and automated testing and deployment; and supports incident resolution. The position requires a relevant degree, modern JavaScript and TypeScript web application knowledge, cloud and CI/CD experience, and strong German and English skills. It is a four-year fixed-term appointment with flexible working arrangements, remote work within Germany, and part-time work options.
