Description
The City of Champaign is hiring a Budget Manager to lead the annual budget process, five-year financial forecast, annual tax levy, purchasing program, capital equipment records, and complex financial administrative functions for its $256 million organization. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, or equivalent experience and education, plus experience with budget systems, supervising staff, purchasing or contracting, financial forecasting, ERP or budget systems, government financial matters, and spreadsheet applications. The full annual salary range is $114,891.92 to $160,857.32, with an excellent fringe benefits package.
