Description

SpaceX is hiring a Build Reliability Engineer supporting Falcon and Dragon flight hardware. The role partners with design and manufacturing teams to plan quality activities, develop Lean test and inspection processes, monitor production quality, conduct build reviews, investigate production/test/flight failures, contain nonconforming products, and improve shop-floor manufacturing processes. The position requires an engineering or physics bachelor's degree and at least one year of manufacturing, quality, or design engineering experience, with internship or student project experience qualifying. Preferred qualifications include process controls, Lean quality, statistical and root-cause analysis, APQP, PFMEA, metrology, and experience with aerospace manufacturing and testing processes.
