Description
The Builder Loan Consultant cultivates loan referrals from builders, evaluates and documents borrower applications, determines appropriate loan programs, collects and converts documentation, calculates rates and fees, negotiates terms, locks loans, and manages the pipeline through funding and closing. The role requires an NMLS loan originator license, 1–3 years of loan origination experience, purchase-loan origination experience, and a high school diploma or GED; builder experience is strongly preferred.
