Gaston County Schools is hiring a building and grounds maintenance worker to maintain school buildings, grounds, landscaping, playgrounds, and related equipment. The role operates vehicles and powered equipment, performs minor building and equipment repairs, manages tools and materials, hauls materials and trash, supports other maintenance trades, and follows workplace safety requirements. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience preferred, and an appropriate commercial driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
