Description
The County Facilities Maintenance Worker performs skilled construction, maintenance, repair, and restoration work on county buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment. Duties include preventive maintenance of HVAC, generators, boilers, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler, fire, and other systems; carpentry, painting, flooring, metal fabrication, lock repair, landscaping, groundskeeping, equipment operation, snow removal, and office support. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two to three years of progressively responsible related experience or equivalent education, training, and experience, a valid state driver's license, rotating 24/7 on-call availability, and regular attendance.
