Description
The HVAC Controls Technician monitors, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains automated HVAC control systems, including field wiring, sensors, controllers, communications, and HVAC control malfunctions. The role also performs preventative maintenance, root-cause analysis, startup and commissioning, point-to-point checkout, and coordination with installation subcontractors. It requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of controls experience, an associate’s or technical degree, and the ability to travel up to 25%.
