Description
LAPORTE is hiring an Electrical Engineer for its Quebec City team to design lighting, electrical distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems; develop control and protection diagrams; perform commissioning and performance testing; coordinate interdisciplinary project activities; follow up with equipment suppliers; and manage client accounts. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, and at least three years of experience designing electrical systems. Automation and pharmaceutical or food-industry experience are assets. The position offers a hybrid arrangement with at least two office days per week and medical, dental, and vision group insurance.
