Description
Akridge is hiring a Building Engineer to maintain the mechanical, life safety, electrical, plumbing, hardware, and lighting systems of an assigned commercial property. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs building systems, responds to service requests, maintains building operating routines, coordinates coverage, and reports problems to senior engineers or the Facilities Manager. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of related experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and preferably commercial-property experience, Microsoft Outlook proficiency, and a DC 3rd Class Steam license.
