Description
The Building Engineer I maintains, operates, and troubleshoots HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems at portfolio properties. The role performs scheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, tenant service requests, equipment replacements, safety compliance, emergency response, and contractor oversight while developing technical skills under senior engineers. It requires 2–3 years of job-related or trade experience, applicable engineering and trade licenses, CFC certification preferred, Microsoft Office and work-order-system skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.
