Description
Newmark is hiring a building engineering operations manager responsible for directing the operation and maintenance of one or more Class A commercial building sites. The role manages engineering staff, oversees building systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC, UPS, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance, and leads project management, capital planning, utility management, vendor and budget controls, safety and regulatory compliance, tenant relations, staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education and experience, 8–10 years of experience as an engineer in a 250,000-square-foot or larger Class A building, strong communication and computer skills, and area-specific licenses.
