The Municipality of Middlesex Centre is hiring a permanent, full-time Building Inspector to conduct building and by-law inspections, review permit applications, enforce municipal and provincial regulations, issue compliance orders, maintain inspection records, and liaise with owners, contractors, officials, and other professionals. The role requires relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience, successful completion of Ontario Building Inspector qualifications, 5–7 years of progressive construction or building-inspection experience, a valid Ontario class G driver’s license, and a criminal records check.
