Description
The BMS Operator monitors and operates Building Management Systems and connected building services, responds to alarms and faults, supports preventive and corrective maintenance, monitors energy use, maintains records, and coordinates with facility management, helpdesk, vendors, and service providers. The role also supports BMS upgrades, system integrations, emergency response, audits, inspections, control-room operations, equipment housekeeping, and system security. Applicants should have a diploma or ITI in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering, 2–5 years of BMS Operator experience in facility management, knowledge of major BMS platforms, HVAC and facility management knowledge, and basic computer and reporting skills.
