CIMA+ is hiring a Building Mechanical Engineer in Gatineau to design ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems for institutional, residential, and commercial projects. The role includes preparing plans and specifications, estimating costs and quantities, conducting surveys and studies, resolving technical problems, preparing reports, managing fee budgets, participating in construction supervision, and attending client meetings. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, at least five years of building mechanical engineering experience, membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, knowledge of applicable standards and codes, and practical experience in project management, studies, and preliminary design.
