Description
The Art Gallery of Ontario is hiring a regular full-time Building Operator 2 for its Plant Operations team in Toronto. The role maintains building systems and stable environmental conditions for art preservation, troubleshoots electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life-safety, elevator, chiller, boiler, and building automation systems, completes maintenance work orders, performs water treatment and basic plant upkeep, manages supplies, responds to emergencies, and coordinates with contractors and clients. Candidates need a 4th Class Stationary Engineering License or BES/BOMI designation, at least five years of progressive facility maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, computer, and organizational skills, and the ability to operate lifts and work from ladders.
