Description
The Art Gallery of Ontario is hiring a regular full-time Building Operator 2 for its Plant Operations team in Toronto. The hands-on role maintains building systems and stable environmental conditions for the museum collection, troubleshoots electrical, plumbing, life-safety, elevator, chiller, boiler, HVAC, and building automation issues, performs routine maintenance and inspections, handles work orders in CMMS and related systems, conducts water-treatment tasks, supports emergency response, manages supplies, and coordinates with contractors and clients. The position requires a 4th Class Stationary Engineering License or BES/BOMI designation, at least five years of facility-maintenance experience, and strong troubleshooting, communication, customer-service, computer, and organizational skills.
