Description
McGill University is hiring a full-time Building Operator in its Facilities Management and Ancillary Services HVAC Operations unit. Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, Zone East, the role operates and maintains heating, refrigeration, and other building engineering equipment at the Ferrier Building, with possible hospital-environment assignments and call-in duties. Candidates must hold valid Fourth Class Stationary Engineering and Class B Refrigeration Equipment Operations certificates and have functional spoken and reading ability in English and French, plus functional written ability in either language. The position works day shifts, 38.75 hours per week, and pays $35.48 per hour.
