Description
Allied is hiring a Building Operator to maintain the performance and reliability of building systems across its portfolio. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, lighting, boiler, heat pump, and air-conditioning systems; tenant work orders; preventative maintenance; contractor oversight; seasonal property upkeep; safety and compliance checks; and after-hours emergency response. Candidates need at least two years of building operations or maintenance experience, knowledge of relevant Canadian building and electrical codes, strong problem-solving and customer-service skills, and the ability to work at heights and on-call shifts. A 4th or 5th class Operating Engineer or provincial trades certification is an asset but not required.
