Black & McDonald is hiring a full-time Building Operator to perform facilities maintenance and operations across various sites in the Greater Toronto Area. The role includes routine inspections, preventive and demand maintenance, operation and repair of boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pumps, generators, life-safety systems, electrical distribution, and building automation systems, as well as minor repairs and energy-efficiency work. Candidates need HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation knowledge, a Building Environment Systems certificate or trade license, 1–3 years of facilities maintenance and operations experience, a valid driver’s license, security clearance, and the ability to work independently, travel, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
