Black & McDonald’s Alberta team is hiring a Building Operator to maintain client facilities in Calgary and the greater Calgary area. The role covers responsive and planned maintenance, facility tours, cleaning, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, subcontractor supervision, tenant response, safety, reporting, and equipment maintenance. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, Class 5 Power Engineering Certification, at least two years of building operator or facilities maintenance experience, and a clean Class 5 Alberta driver’s license. The position requires after-hours on-call and emergency callouts, travel to assigned facilities, and physical work involving standing, lifting, confined spaces, and ladder use.
