Breaking Ground is hiring a Building Superintendent for its 434-unit permanent supportive housing building in East Harlem. Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the role leads day-to-day building operations, supervises maintenance staff, and serves as the senior technical lead for boilers, HVAC, BMS, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, regulatory compliance, inspections, emergency response, budgeting, purchasing, and tenant communication. The position requires on-site residency and after-hours emergency coverage, along with extensive facilities and HVAC experience, supervisory experience, and specified FDNY and other certifications.
