Description
The Building Support & Training Engineer serves as the technical resource and subject matter expert for PSD’s energy modeling and program delivery tools, supporting contractor adoption, training, troubleshooting, workflow improvement, outreach, recruitment, and field support. The role bridges project management, software development, outreach, and participating contractors while helping expand program participation and maintain high-quality customer service. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least four years of relevant professional experience, residential building science and energy modeling expertise, training and communication skills, and the ability to travel within New York.
