Durham School Services is hiring a School Bus Assistant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with no prior experience required and training provided. The role supports the safe transportation of students by assisting with boarding and exiting, securing restraints, monitoring conduct, managing behavior, reporting violations, evacuating the vehicle in emergencies, maintaining the bus interior, completing paperwork, and reporting to duty. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, meet physical and medical requirements, pass training, and have strong communication, interpersonal, and pupil-behavior-management skills. The starting pay rate is $16.24 per hour, with walk-in interviews Monday through Thursday and medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, holiday pay, and PTO accrual.
