Description
The School Bus Assistant assists a bus driver with the safe boarding and alighting of students, secures wheelchairs and other restraints, monitors student conduct, manages behavior, documents concerns, supports emergency evacuation, maintains the vehicle, completes paperwork, and follows training and safety requirements. The role requires applicants to be at least 18 years old (19 for New York), meet physical and medical requirements, pass training, and demonstrate professionalism, communication, and the ability to work with children.
