Description
The School Bus Assistant supports the safe transportation of students by assisting with boarding and exiting, securing restraints, monitoring conduct, managing behavior, reporting violations, evacuating passengers in emergencies, maintaining the bus interior, completing paperwork, and attending training. The role requires a minimum age of 18, physical and medical qualifications, attention to detail, dexterity, the ability to work with children, behavior-management skills, professionalism, communication skills, and the ability to lift and assist students. Training is provided, and the starting pay is $18.25 per hour.
