The School Bus Assistant supports the safe transportation of students by assisting with boarding and exiting, securing restraints, monitoring conduct, managing behavior, documenting concerns, evacuating the vehicle in emergencies, maintaining the bus interior, completing paperwork, and reporting to duty. The role requires attention to detail, dexterity, professionalism, communication, and the ability to work with children; no prior experience is needed because training is provided.
