The Bus Assistant supports the safe transportation of students by assisting with boarding and exiting, securing students and wheelchairs, monitoring conduct, managing behavior, documenting concerns, evacuating the vehicle in emergencies, maintaining the bus interior, completing paperwork, and reporting to duty. The role requires students to be at least 18 years old, meet physical and medical requirements, complete training, and demonstrate professionalism, communication, and the ability to work with children. The position pays $22.45 per hour and offers medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, holiday pay, PTO accrual, and retirement savings plan enrollment.
