Description
The Bus Driver will transport students safely, perform clerical duties related to transportation, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. This includes conducting student counts, observing traffic laws, maintaining student discipline, keeping the bus clean, checking for mechanical issues before departure, reporting incidents, and adhering to all established guidelines. Additionally, the Lead Driver assists with administrative tasks such as payroll processing, report completion, promoting safety awareness, assisting with emergency drills, managing substitutions, coordinating repair calls, ensuring cleanliness inspections, supporting recruitment efforts, verifying equipment readiness, and maintaining knowledge of school bus routes.
