Bus Driver at IDEA Public Schools

IDEA Public Schools is hiring Bus Drivers for its Upper Rio Grande Valley Operations applicant pool in Weslaco, Texas. The role transports students safely on scheduled routes, field trips, and between homes and school sites; manages passenger behavior; performs daily vehicle inspections; maintains transportation records; and ensures compliance with CDL, medical-card, and school-bus safety requirements. Candidates need a GED or high school diploma, experience operating large passenger vehicles or equivalent training, a valid CDL with passenger and school-bus endorsements, safety training, and successful age, alcohol/drug, and DOT physical requirements. The position requires availability for at least 32 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours.
