Description
The Transit Operator will safely and punctually operate mass-transit vehicles, including lift- and ramp-equipped vehicles, while boarding and discharging passengers, collecting farebox data, following MTA and traffic regulations, and reporting incidents. The role requires a valid Michigan driver’s license, customer-service skills, knowledge of the Flint and Genesee County area, and the ability to pass required physical, drug, criminal, and reference checks. The position offers 40 hours per week during training and eventually full-time status, with training pay of $15.00 per hour and part-time pay of $22.34 per hour.
