Description
The Bus Operator safely operates RTD buses on assigned routes, inspects vehicles, boards and alights passengers, collects fares, provides customer service, and maintains radio contact with the control center. Paid training is provided in preparation for a Class B commercial license and passenger and airbrake endorsements. The role requires a California Class C driver license or higher, a valid DMV driving record, reliable transportation, English proficiency, and availability for varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
