Description
The Bus Operator operates transit vehicles for the Muskegon Area Transit System under the supervision of a Transit Supervisor, answers customer questions, reports problems, instructs new employees, and performs special charter operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of driving experience, a valid driver's license, an excellent driving record, and a Michigan Commercial Driver's License with BP endorsements within 45 days of hire. The position is scheduled for no more than 24 hours per week and requires physical ability to assist wheelchair patrons and operate in varied weather conditions.
