IndyGo is hiring a Bus Operator Trainee for a limited-duration training position that prepares candidates to become Professional Bus Operators. The role teaches safe bus operation in revenue and non-revenue service, pre- and post-trip inspections, route and fare knowledge, ADA passenger assistance, defensive driving, and customer service. Applicants must be at least 21, hold a valid commercial driver’s license, and have documented customer-service experience; a commercial driver’s permit and Indiana CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements are preferred.
