Modernize is hiring a Business Analyst to optimize and expand its consumer-financing marketplace by analyzing lender coverage, contractor demand, consumer credit, operational performance, risks, and funding behavior. The role will diagnose coverage gaps and performance issues, recommend lender and product changes, monitor early-warning risks, support planning and performance management, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and external lenders. It requires at least four years of relevant financial-services or marketplace experience, strong SQL and Excel or Google Sheets skills, experience with a visualization platform, financial modeling, and familiarity with home-improvement financing and lender-routing platforms. The position is remote and offers an estimated annual salary of $80,000 to $120,000 USD, plus potential performance bonus, commission, and equity.
