Google is hiring a Business Data Scientist for its Global Business Organization in Seattle, Washington. The role translates business goals into analytical questions, develops solution strategies, troubleshoots problems, builds analytical models and processes, and presents data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. It requires a bachelor’s degree plus six years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus four years of experience, along with experience in quantitative problem framing, statistical and optimization methods, data manipulation, Python or R, and presenting solutions. The position reports to the Google Seattle office and may allow a hybrid schedule, with a base salary of $196,920–$237,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
