Description

Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time Principal Business Development Analyst for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program within its Integrated Air and Missile Defense line of business. The role leads cross-functional efforts translating customer needs into technical and business solutions, develops capture plans and business opportunities, coordinates integration with Army and defense architectures, manages stakeholder engagement across military and government organizations, and prioritizes urgent operational requirements. The position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance, and offers a full-time salary range of $158,700 to $294,700 plus medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
Required Previous Experiences: At least 18 years of experience in U.S. military, U.S. Government, or technology-based industry
Subject-matter expertise in U.S. Armed Forces fielded Air and Missile Defense programs, including PATRIOT, THAAD, and IAMD
Experience with Department of War acquisition processes, DoD Directive 5000.1, JCIDS, and Army Air and Missile Defense capability development
Experience with U.S. Army and MDA Program Objective Memorandum processes, acquisition and procurement business processes, and U.S. Armed Forces service cultures
Previous U.S. Government civilian or military experience in Air and Missile Defense
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a relevant discipline
Superior knowledge of U.S. Armed Forces Air and Missile Defense operational strategy, tactical employment, and modernization strategy
Outstanding leadership skills and experience leading high-performing organizations
Knowledge of linkage and coordination among U.S. Army Fires, Space and Missile Defense Command, T2COM, PAE Fires, and HQDA Air and Missile Defense Program operations
Strong organizational ability and team leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
