Lunar Outpost is hiring a full-time Business Development Engineer focused on U.S. Department of Defense space programs. The role leads capture and proposal efforts, develops win strategies, engages DoD stakeholders, supports pipeline development, and performs end-to-end engineering for small research and development programs. It requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, at least four years of DoD business development, capture, or proposal engineering experience, familiarity with FAR/DFARS, spacecraft systems or mission operations expertise, strong communication skills, and U.S. person status with security clearance eligibility. The position is onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with remote work permitted on Wednesdays, and offers a $90,000–$115,000 compensation range plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and educational reimbursement benefits.
