Synopsys is hiring a Business Development, Staff professional to source and evaluate M&A targets, build financial models and business cases, coordinate due diligence and data rooms, support negotiations, analyze market and technology trends, and track post-close integration. The role reports to Corporate Development and partners with senior leaders across business units, finance, legal, strategy, and operations. It requires 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate development, strong financial modeling and deal-execution skills, and an MBA or equivalent analytical training; technology, semiconductor, or software experience is a plus. The position is remote-eligible, based in Sunnyvale, California, with a base salary of $114,000–$170,000 and potential bonus, equity, and other discretionary benefits.
