The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst Specialist in Austin, Texas, to support targeted data curation and reporting for Medicaid Personal Care Services. The role serves as a senior business and systems analyst and test manager, gathering requirements, translating them into technical specifications and test plans, integrating data sources, developing AI prompts and query strategies, creating reports and dashboards, validating data outputs, and training non-technical staff. The position is onsite only and limited to local candidates.

Required Previous Experiences: 10 years of experience gathering business requirements and translating complex data requests into actionable queries for analytics data sources

10 years of experience in complex data analysis, senior business or systems analysis, or data liaison work
10 years of strong SQL experience for data extraction and manipulation
10 years of experience collaborating with end users and analysts to create and validate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
10 years of excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience with business intelligence and data warehousing
5 years of experience in a health and human services or similarly regulated environment
