Description
Auto-Owners Insurance is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer Intern for its Actuarial Division. The intern will create reports, data extracts, and analyses; build, maintain, and document code for data transformation, aggregation, and presentation; learn business intelligence tools; understand data sources and flows; communicate with employees; and participate in training. The internship is full-time, Monday through Friday, in person in Lansing, Michigan, with interns choosing their start and end dates, most joining in mid-May and staying until mid-August. Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, have at least two years of coursework completed, and have experience with SQL, Python, Excel, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
