ABB is hiring an on-site Procurement Specialist in Nashik, India, to purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedules, and terms while following corporate purchasing procedures. The role includes initiating purchase orders, confirming deliveries, monitoring supplier performance, negotiating agreements and price lists, recommending frame agreements, and evaluating bids. Candidates need a BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 3–6 years of procurement, purchase, and vendor-management experience, knowledge of electrical and mechanical commodities, inventory-management and supplier-coordination experience, and familiarity with SAP-MM is an advantage.
