ABB is hiring an on-site Purchasing Specialist to purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedules, and terms while following corporate purchasing procedures. The role initiates purchase orders, confirms deliveries, monitors supplier performance, negotiates agreements and price lists, manages supplier KPIs, evaluates bids, and identifies new suppliers. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economy is required, while negotiation, SAP, digital tools, and mechanical technology knowledge are preferred.
