Description
The Buyer processes purchase requisitions, sources and places purchase orders, coordinates supplier expediting, verifies received documentation, matches purchase orders to bills of lading, resolves price and quantity variances, negotiates pricing and payment terms, requests and analyzes vendor RFPs, and participates in vendor performance evaluations. The role also administers a fleet of 300+ trucks, including applications and driver platform access. A college degree is preferred, NetSuite ERP experience is a plus, and the position requires effective communication, organization, customer service, and successful drug and alcohol and background checks.
