Annapurna Labs is hiring an experienced C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer to develop bare-metal firmware that drives neural network model execution on custom ASIC-based machine learning accelerator chips. The role combines hardware/software co-design, embedded software design and testing, performance optimization, test infrastructure, and collaboration with architecture and RTL teams, while also serving as a technical lead and mentor. Candidates need extensive C/C++ and embedded development experience, along with software development lifecycle, architecture, and leadership experience; prior machine learning knowledge is not required. The position is based in Cupertino, California, with a base salary of $193,300 to $261,500 annually.
